Hydrochloric acid is one of the main chlorine derivatives produced by Ercros. With a host of applications, it is the second most used chemical compound industrially after sulphuric acid.

The Flix, Palos de la Frontera, Sabiñánigo and Vila-seca plants are able to produce some 307,000 tons of this product per annum.
