Sabiñánigo, May 13, 2015 - Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo continues its educational work, scheduling student visits. Last May 12, the factory received 41 students and three teachers of chemistry degree at the University of Zaragoza. This activity is promoted by the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the same university and is repeated every year.
The visit began with a talk by technical personnel of the factory so that students become familiar with the company, its manufacturing centres, productive activities and their production processes. Then, accompanied by an Ercros technician, the students visited the chlor potash, sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide facilities.
Year after year these visits are highly valued by both students and their teachers as they suppose an interesting contact with the chemical production sector and a fitting complement to the theoretical knowledge that is exposed in the classroom.
