Ercros formalizes the sale of the factory of Palos de la Frontera
Barcelona, June 2, 2015.- Ercros and Salinas del Odiel signed today, June 2, 2015, the sale of Electroquímica Onubense, a subsidiary of Ercros and current owner of the factory of Palos de la Frontera and the concession holder of the Salina of Huelva.
Under the agreement reached on February 11, 2015 by Ercros and Salinas del Odiel and as a step prior to the sale last May 1, Ercros transferred to Electroquímica Onubense the chlorine-soda business and the salt extraction in Palos de la Frontera, as well as the property of the land, facilities and concessions that support the business. The rest of the grounds of the factory site remain property of Ercros.
Ercros will continue producing chlorine, caustic soda and their derivatives in other facilities of the company engaged in the manufacture of these products.
