Chemistry students from the University of Zaragoza visit the factory of Ercros in Sabiñánigo

Sabiñánigo, April 29, 2016. - True to a tradition that is repeated year after year, students of the Chemistry Degree, from the University of Zaragoza have visited the facilities of Ercros in Sabiñánigo. On 26 and 27 April, 96 students accompanied by two professors from the Department of Inorganic Chemistry have come to known the operation of the chlorine potash, sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide plants.

Now that the academic year is coming to an end, students highly value this experience and both them and their teachers, believe that the visit is an interesting contact with the productive chemical sector as well as a suitable complement to the theoretical knowledge achieved in the classroom.

Ercros technical staff is in charge of leading those visits to the production facilities and providing the necessary explanations about the production processes of the plant.
