Cerdanyola, December 5, 2016. - The Cerdanyola Entrepreneurs Association has awarded the Ercros factory in Cerdanyola for its social responsibility policies in terms of environmental protection. During the Nit Empresarial de Cerdanyola several awards have been given to the companies and entities of the city. The Ercros factory has been awarded the RSE (Corporate Social Responsibility) prize for its achievements in reducing the environmental impact of its facilities.
The objectives of environmental management at the Cerdanyola plant are focused on reducing water discharges, reducing energy consumption, reducing industrial waste and reducing emissions to the atmosphere.
In addition, since 1994, Ercros has been included in the Responsible Care program, which aims to enable chemical companies, in the development of their activity, to achieve continuous improvements in relation to safety, health and environmental protection, product stewardship and transparency in communication.
The Cerdanyola plant, like most Ercros facilities, has its sustainability management system according to ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 environmental standards, quality control according to ISO 9001 and prevention according to the standard OSHAS 18001.
