The factory of Ercros in Sabiñánigo receives the seal of Social Responsibility of Aragon

Sabiñánigo, December 20, 2016. - The factory of Ercros in Sabiñánigo has received the seal of company Social Responsible of Aragon (RSA) granted by the Government of Aragon together with the employer’s organisations CEOE and Cepyme and the trade unions UGT and CC.OO. This new accreditation received by the factory in Sabiñánigo recognizes its good practices in social responsibility and its adherence to the principles of awareness, commitment, training and transparency.

In order to obtain the RSA label, Ercros' factory has undergone a process of diagnosis and validation of its good practices in the field of social responsibility and has signed a commitment of transparency in the management, respect to the employed people, excellence in the management and protection of the environment. These commitments will be evaluated annually to maintain the recognition as an RSA accredited company.

The factory in Sabiñánigo belongs to the Ercros’ Division of Chlorine Derivatives and articulates its activity around the manufacture of chlorine, chloroisocyanurates and potash. It is the first European producer of tablets for the treatment of pool water.

This new certification adds to the different accreditations that Ercros already has in environmental matters (ISO 14001, ISO 14064, ISO 5001 and EMAS), quality (ISO 9001) and prevention (OHSAS 18001).
