Vila-seca, January 10, 2017. - Ercros makes its annual contribution in terms of sports sponsorship with the Vila-seca Football Club and the Vila-seca Hockey Club. On December 29, municipal councillors of Vila-seca, Josep Toquero and Francisco Almazán, handed over to the presidents of the Vila-seca Football Club, Manuel López, and the Vila-seca Hockey Club, Jesús Redón, the amount received from Ercros corresponding to the sponsorship agreement of these two sports clubs.
The Vila-seca Football Club has celebrated its 50 years of history this year and its first team plays in First Catalan League. In addition, the club has 18 base football teams competing in several categories.
For its part, the Vila-seca Hockey Club, founded in 1975, has two senior teams in First and Second Catalan League and has 15 teams competing in training categories.
Ercros has two factories located in the municipality of Vila-seca, where more than 260 people work. Vila-seca I is dedicated to the production of chlorine, soda and its derivatives; and Vila-seca II produces PVC, vinyl chloride and dichloroethane.
