Sabiñánigo, April 11, 2018. - On April 8, one hundred years ago the Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo began its activities. To remember this anniversary Ercros presents an allusive logo, which will be used over the next 12 months. The company has also published a commemorative book and plans to hold several events in the coming months.
This same week, the City Council of Sabiñánigo has awarded Ercros the Gold Medal of the city, in recognition of the efforts of all the people who have contributed to its development and maintenance. Ercros is grateful for this mention that staged the good relationship of its factory with the population of Sabiñánigo, not only for the employment generated but for the link created with its neighbours, the dozens of students who visit its facilities, the other companies in the city and the population in general.
100 years after its inauguration, the factory in Sabiñánigo is experiencing a moment of strength and expansion with the recent start-up of two new production plants - chlorine-soda and hydrochloric acid - and the start of the expansion of the swimming pool water treatment chlorine tablets plant, which consolidates Ercros as the first European manufacturer of the this product. 210 people work in Sabiñánigo's facilities and their products are exported all over the world.
