Sabiñánigo and Monzón, December 20, 2018. - The factories of Ercros in Sabiñánigo and Monzón have renewed, for the third consecutive year, the Social Responsibility of Aragon (RSA) seal awarded by the Government of Aragon jointly with the CEOE and Cepyme employers’ organizations and the UGT and CC.OO trade unions. This accreditation recognizes the good practices in terms of social responsibility of the Aragonese production centres and their adherence to the principles of awareness, commitment, training and transparency.
The factories of Sabiñánigo and Monzón obtained the Social Responsibility of Aragón seal for the first time in 2016 and they have been renewing it year after year. To this end, they have undergone a process of diagnosis and validation of their good practices in terms of social responsibility, and have signed a commitment to transparency in management, respect for employees, excellence in management and protection of the environment.
These two factories belong to the Ercros chlorine derivatives division. Sabiñánigo articulates its activity around the manufacture of chlorine, chloroisocyanurates and potash, and is the first European producer of tablets for the treatment of swimming pool water. The activity of the Monzón factory is focused on the production of PVC compounds with multiple applications: cables, pipes, containers, blinds etc.
