Barcelona, July 4, 2019. - Ercros has joined, as a Gold member, the Company and Climate Foundation (Fundación Empresa y Clima – FEC), a private institution, founded in 2008, which is a benchmark for mitigation and adaptation to climate change among companies. In September 2010, the foundation was named Observer Member of the United Nations.
Ercros shares with FEC its interest in protecting the environment and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The company is also affiliated with other programs that contain environmental protection commitments, such as the Responsible Care and the Global Compact.
Ercros is an industrial group with a centuries-old tradition that is diversified into three business segments: the chlorine derivatives division, a strategic business unit whose common bond is chlorine; the division of intermediate chemicals, focused on the chemistry of formaldehyde, and the division of pharmaceuticals, which is dedicated to the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
