Ercros presents new fragrances microencapsulated in its chlorine tablets

Ercros presents its new tablets to treat the swimming pool water with fragrances incorporated through the technique of microencapsulation, which release different scents such as rose, lavender or marine freshness, while the disinfectant action of chlorine keeps the water in perfect condition. Piscina & Wellness 2019 exhibition, which will be held in Barcelona from October 15 to 18, is the framework chosen by Ercros for the presentation of this new development.

The new scent tablets join those already made by Ercros with another additive, geraniol, which drives away mosquitoes and other insects from the pool.

Thanks to microencapsulation technology, developed by the Ercros R&D department in Sabiñánigo and the University of Zaragoza, fragrances and the mosquito additive are protected from reaction with chlorine, so they do not degrade or lose their functionality. This technology is valid to microencapsulate in chlorine tablets other types of additives that the market demands.

Ercros is the European leader in the manufacture of chloroisocyanurates, an optimal product for the disinfection of pool water that the company exports to the world from its factory in Sabiñánigo. This factory is in the process of expanding its capacity for the production of chloroisocyanurates by 6,500 tons per year, which will allow it to reach 28,500 tons per year by the end of 2019.

At the Piscina & Wellness 2019 exhibition, Ercros will also present its usual products for the treatment of pool water: bilayer tablets, tablets without boric acid and all the products that it markets under the Delsa and Azuli own brands.
