Ercros obtains the highest distinction in the EcoVadis business sustainability rating

Ercros has obtained 81 points out of a possible 100 in the EcoVadis rating, which has allowed to receive, for the second consecutive year, the Platinum recognition that places Ercros in the 1% with the best classification among the 75,000 companies evaluated. The objective of the EcoVadis international rating is to evaluate the ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices of the companies.

In the 2020 ranking, Ercros has improved the ranking of the previous year by four points, highlighting the sections on the environment and on labour practices and human rights.

Ercros' commitment to good practices in ESG materializes, among other actions, with its voluntary adherence to the Global Compact program, promoted by the UN, and Responsible Care, promoted by the global chemical sector, and to the code of good governance of listed companies, approved by the CNMV.

Ercros has implemented a sustainability management system based on compliance with internationally recognized standards. The Ercros centres have accredited their environmental management according to the ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 50001 standards; its quality management, according to the ISO 9001 standard; and its prevention and occupational health management, according to the ISO 45001 standard. Annually, an independent company certifies the renewal of these standards.
