Tortosa, November 29, 2022. - The head of the R&D department of the intermediate chemistry division, Teresa Camarasa and the factory and R&D technicians of Tortosa, Tamara Castilla and Roser Cervellera, have acted as scientific mentors of a group of 2nd year ESO students of the Escola Teresiana, as part of the Experimenta a l'Aula Challenge.
The Ercros representatives went to the classroom to help the students do three experiments: the lava lamp, the tornado in a bottle and the invisible ink. The aim of the Experimenta a l'Aula Challenge is to awaken scientific vocations among young people through the concept of Learn by doing or "Aprèn fent", where the students themselves have to look for information, obtain material and carry out the experiment.
Ercros has been collaborating for years with the Experimenta Challenge, a project promoted by the Rovira i Virgili University, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Catalan Institute of Chemical Research.
