Cerdanyola del Vallès, December 23, 2022. - The Ercros factory in Cerdanyola has sponsored the VIII Cursa Solidària Institut Forat del Vent, in which nearly 1,500 secondary school students from the town have participated. The runners have been organized by category and this year, for the first time, the Diversity prize has been awarded to students with special educational needs.
Each runner has contributed a kilo of food in exchange for a race bib; these foods have been donated to the Food Bank and will be distributed by Cáritas Cerdanyola among families who need it.
Àngel Domínguez, head of industrial relations at the Cerdanyola factory, was in charge of handing out the prizes to the winners; accompanied by Pepi Rivera, first deputy mayor of the Cerdanyola City Council; Cristina Clavero, president of the Association of Mothers and Fathers of the Forat del Vent Institute; and Maria Lourdes Pérez, education inspector.
