Ercros obtains the highest distinction at the international sustainability rating EcoVadis

Barcelona, 14 February, 2023. - Ercros has obtained 84 points out of a possible 100 in the international EcoVadis rating, which evaluates the ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices of companies. This result places Ercros in the top 1% of the 90,000 companies analysed in 175 countries and 200 sectors, enabling it to receive a Platinum recognition for the fourth consecutive year.

Ercros stood out in the environmental (90 out of 100 points) and labour practices and human rights (90 out of 100) sections. The company scored 80 points out of 100 in the ethics section and 60 out of 100 in the sustainable procurement section.

EcoVadis has identified 156 strengths of Ercros' sustainability performance, including: comprehensive environmental, social and governance policies; adherence to key international sustainability agreements; measures to prevent pollution and reduce emissions; and risk assessments.

In its conclusions, EcoVadis highlights that Ercros has advanced management systems in environmental matters, fair business practices and labour relations and human rights.
