Nuno Duarte de Almeida

Professional background

Born in 1966.  Mechanical Engineering with more than 30 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries.

He has developed a significant part of his professional career at Hovione, where he held various senior positions in operations and engineering and led major investment, innovation and industrial expansion projects in Europe, Asia and North America. In September 2026, he joined Ercros as deputy director of the pharmaceuticals division and director of the Aranjuez factory. In November 2026, he was appointed director of the pharmaceuticals division.
