444 people from Ercros walk 300,000 kilometres together in three months

Walking more than 10,000 steps a day for three months. This is the objective of the 2025 Ercros Challenge that the company proposed to its staff within the Ercros Healthy program, an initiative that seeks to promote the physical and emotional well-being of its staff. The result: 444 participants, half of whom have exceeded the target set. Between all the participants they have walked 300,000 kilometres or, in other words, they have travelled seven and a half laps of the earth.
The Monzón factory has been proclaimed the winner of the Ercros Challenge, with an impressive 90% of its workforce involved. The factories of Tortosa and Flix have stood out for registering the highest average number of steps per participant, while the Tarragona complex and the Sabiñánigo factory have had among their ranks the winners of the individual ranking in the male and female categories, respectively.
The collective involvement has been constant: in Almussafes, group walks have been organised, while, in Aranjuez and Cerdanyola, more than 50% of the staff have joined the Challenge. The centre of Barcelona, for its part, has stood out for having the highest female representation in the top 25 of the women's ranking.
The Ercros Challenge is an action included in the Ercros Healthy program, whose axis is the implementation of a healthy organization management system in the company's workplaces. This system, endorsed by Aenor's Sigos certification, not only reinforces the prevention of health risks, but is also committed to promoting healthy habits and people's overall well-being.
