The manager of the Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo, Elena Simón, took part in the discussion panel "Hands on, Women building the future", organised by the Association of Women for Health (MUSA), on occasion of the forthcoming International Women's Day on March 8th.

The Ercros factory director highlighted the increasing presence of women at the centre, particularly in leadership positions. "Although there is still progress to be made," she said, encouraging further efforts to implement equal pay and work-life balance policies, like those already in place at Ercros. She also emphasized the importance of having female role models and support networks to help more women reach leadership positions.

Simón shared her vision of leadership in the industry: "Treating people with respect, building relationships based on trust, and acting with empathy are key to achieving success."

The event brought together professionals from Sabiñánigo to discuss workplace equality, raise awareness of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors, and promote the exchange of experiences and perspectives among women from different industries and generations.
