Enric Montserrat, director of the intermediate chemistry division

Enric Montserrat Galimany, until now industrial director of the intermediate chemicals division, has been appointed -with effect from July 1st- director of this division, replacing Jaume Reig Navalón, who is leaving the company due to retirement after 43 years of working in her and whom we thank for the services rendered.

Santiago Rodríguez Barrero, who currently manages the Tortosa factory, will assume the position of industrial director of the intermediate chemicals division, which is left vacant by Enric Montserrat.

Enric Montserrat has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona, a postgraduate degree in Industrial Control from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and has completed a Management Development program at IESE.

In 1996 he joined the Grupo Derivados Forestales as an R&D technician, later he was appointed head of production and director of the Sant Celoni factory, until its closure. In 2007, as a result of the integration of said group into Ercros, he supported the director of the intermediate chemicals division and was later appointed industrial director of this division until his current appointment as its director.

Santiago Rodríguez has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Valladolid. His incorporation as an R&D technician at Grupo Derivados Forestales dates back to 1986. Subsequently, he worked at the Polialco factory in Tortosa as head of production and director. In 2006, after the merger between Ercros and Derivados Forestales, he continued directing this factory, combining this position with the head of engineering in the intermediate chemical division.

Santiago Rodríguez will continue to manage the Tortosa factory until September 1, when he will be replaced by Ángel Punzano Gil, current director of the Cerdanyola factory, who in turn will be replaced by Ramón Jané Pañella, current head of laboratory, development and technical assistance from said factory.
