Ercros has participated in the project An engineer in each school organized by the University of Zaragoza, the Association of Women Researchers and Technologists (AMIT Aragón) and the Ibercaja Foundation, and with the support of the Department of Education of the Government of Aragon.

Noelia Méndez and Miryan Sarango, chemical engineers from the Sabiñánigo factory, visited the Santa Ana school in the town to bring female role models to primary school students and share their professional experience.

The assessment of their participation was positive both for the teachers and students of the school and for the engineers participating in the event.

The objective of this project is to show that scientific and technical professions are collaborative, develop as a team and contribute directly to improving people's quality of life. To this end, participatory workshops are organised that allow students to learn first-hand about the contributions of engineering, science and technology to society.

The initiative is intended to continue and is expected to be extended to other schools in the area in the coming years.
