Ercros expects an ebitda between 40 and 45 million for 2021 first half
In the first half of 2021, Ercros expects to obtain an ebitda in the range of [40-45] million euros and profits of [15-20] million euros.
These figures compare to an ebitda of 26 million euros and profits of 4.4 million from the same period in 2020. We anticipate an increase in sales volume, relative to last year, of [8%-12%] and turnover in the range of [24%-28%].
Finally, we expect the company’s contribution margin to be between [35%- 39%], compared to 38% from the first half of 2020. These estimates are based on the results of the April closing and market visibility for May and June.
The patterns observed in the first half of 2021 are expected to persist for the remainder of the year, so overall, 2021 will be a clear improvement on 2020.
We do, however, perceive certain risks that, without altering the previous forecast, could boost uncertainty in the second half of 2021: the increased price of electricity and raw materials, a shortage in the availability of raw materials, rising freight costs, and the global spread of new strains of the coronavirus.
