Ercros has been a finalist in the Premios Atlante granted by Foment del Treball, in the occupational medicine category, for its management of the coronavirus pandemic which allowed that, despite the high incidence figures recorded in Spain, the work centers de Ercros will continue to operate and the health of workers will be protected.

Chantal Coll, director for sustainable development of Ercros, was in charge of collecting the diploma, and pointed out that the key to success was "the union and cooperation between all the people who make up Ercros, the absolute involvement of everyone, from address until the workers' representatives, from whom unconditional support was received". Chantal Coll assured that "at first, when we still didn't know what we were up against, we put in place a worker protection system that later became a reference for other companies".

The jury has evaluated the candidacy of Ercros for "the health activities developed by the prevention service, related to the performance of detection tests, the management of cases, the actions before cases of special sensitivity, as well as the actions of collaboration with the public health system".

The Atlante Awards recognize good practices in occupational safety and, in their tenth edition, they wanted to reward the efforts made by companies to protect workers during the covid-19 epidemic. The delivery ceremony was presided over by Albert Castellanos, secretary of business and competitiveness of the Department of Business and Labor of the Generalitat of Catalonia; and Josep Sanchez Llibre, president of Foment del Treball.
