Ercros participates in the industrial safety convention in Almussafes

Ercros participated in the annual Industrial Safety Convention organized by the Association of Owners and Users of the Industrial Park (APPI), whose aim is to raise awareness in the industrial area about the importance of emergency plans, improvements in coordination, and a preventive culture regarding industrial safety.

The head of comprehensive security at Ercros’ Almussafes plant, Juan Pablo Pérez, gave a presentation on communications during emergencies in a Seveso company –which handles hazardous substances—, highlighting the communication system and protocols that Ercros uses in such cases.

The event was also attended by the director of the Almussafes plant, Fernando Burgueño; the mayor of Almussafes, Toni González; the general director of Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana, Julio Delgado; and the secretary general of the Valencian Metallurgical Business Federation (Femeval), Empar Martínez.

During the event, the application and proprietary alert system were presented, which use mobile phone channels (SMS and WhatsApp) to communicate emergency situations occurring in the area.
