Ercros promotes scientific talent at the Fira Experimenta 2025

Ercros has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting science education among young people through its participation in the Fira Experimenta 2025, held at the Sescelades Campus of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). This fair is the final act of the Repte Experimenta educational programme, an initiative promoted by the URV to bring science closer to secondary school students.

In this edition, Ercros has accompanied a group of second-year ESO students from the Institut Collblanc of La Canonja in the development of an experiment focused on the conversion of the force of water into electricity. The initiative has been accompanied by Luiz Gabriel Campos, technician of the plastics R+D department of the Vila-seca II factory, who has acted as scientific godfather of the team.

After a first phase of work in the classroom, in which they designed, tested and documented the experiment, the students developed a report and an explanatory video that allowed them to qualify for the final act of the program.

The Collblanc Institute stand, sponsored by Ercros, was one of the most outstanding of the fair and received one of the Experimenta Awards awarded by a professional jury, in recognition of the creativity, scientific rigour and communicative capacity of the team.

This collaboration is part of Ercros' strategy to support young talent, the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the strengthening of the link between industry and the educational environment.
