Ercros reaches its highest level in Lighthouse's ESG Rating

Lighthouse's ESG Rating 2025 prepared by the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts (IEAF in Spanish) has awarded Ercros an overall rating of 87 points out of 100, which represents an improvement of one point compared to 2024 and thus consolidates a very high performance. Lighthouse highlights the company's ESG strength and does not identify any significant weaknesses in any of the three pillars: environmental, social and governance (ESG).
The best score is obtained by the social pillar with 93 points, which reaches the highest AAA level. The report highlights the human resources policies of Ercros; its performance in occupational safety and health; and its social contribution. Notes, furthermore, that the health and safety management system (ISO 45001) is certified by an independent third party; that the company has assessed 81% of its suppliers against ESG criteria over the past three years; and that most of the indicators analysed have shown a positive evolution in recent years.
In terms of governance, Ercros maintains a score of 89 points and the AAA level. The rating underlines that the company complies with 98% of the recommendations of the Code of Good Governance, in addition to having a director selection policy that takes into account diversity, as well as a risk management system that includes ESG risks and a Code of Ethical Conduct applicable both internally and to third parties. It also recalls that Ercros is a signatory to the Code of Good Tax Practices and, since 2021, has had a public tax transparency policy approved by the board of directors.
In the environmental pillar, Ercros has obtained a score of 81 points and an AA level. It improves its score in environmental management by increasing its quantitative objectives, with specific mention of the 3D Plan and the objectives in terms of climate change. The rating highlights the commitment to benchmark initiatives, such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the carbon footprint registry. It also values the improvement in its scope 3 carbon emissions and the positive evolution in water consumption and the amount of waste generated by the company.
