The Generalitat of Catalonia visits the Ercros factory in Tortosa

The director of territorial services in Terres de l'Ebre of the Department of Business and Labour of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Antonio Suárez, has visited the Ercros factory in Tortosa with the aim of getting to know first-hand the facilities and activities carried out there, and collecting the needs and concerns of the local business sector.

The director of the center, Blanca Rius, and the head of industrial relations, Joan Carles Galiana, have been in charge of receiving the representative of the Generalitat, who has attended accompanied by the head of the section of industrial safety, automobiles, metrology and mines, Eduard Mallen, a good connoisseur of the center since he regularly participates as an observer in emergency drills.

The visit began with a corporate presentation of Ercros and the products manufactured in Tortosa, followed by a tour of the centre's facilities by Javier Fernández, head of operations at the factory.  

This visit is part of the desire of the Ministry of Business and Labour to strengthen communication and collaboration with the productive fabric of the territory, favouring a direct dialogue with companies to improve services and public policies.
