Monzón receives a visit from a group of students from Aínsa

The Ercros factory in Monzón has received the visit of 53 students from the Sobrarbe secondary school, in Aínsa. The objective of the activity, aimed at students in the third year of ESO, was to learn about the industrial sector of the eastern area of Huesca.
Those in charge of receiving and guiding the group throughout the day were Rafael Mancho, head of the Monzón factory, and Belén Pascual, head of R+D of the factory, who was accompanied by part of her team.
During the visit, the students were able to discover the fundamental role that polymers play in society, their many applications and the existing solutions for their management at the end of their useful life. They also learned about the injection and extrusion processes of PVC compounds and ErcrosBio bioplastics, both manufactured and marketed by the Ercros factory.
With initiatives such as this, the company reaffirms its commitment to training and scientific dissemination, bringing the industry closer to new generations and promoting vocations in the technological and environmental fields.
