Students from CEIP Aragón visit the Ercros factory in Monzón

Fifty sixth-grade students from CEIP Aragón school in Monzón visited the Ercros factory located in the La Armentera industrial park as part of an educational activity designed to familiarize them with the city's industrial sector and bring industrial activity closer to the school environment.
During the visit, the students were able to learn firsthand about the operation of the facilities, the main production processes, and the safety, quality, and environmental measures that govern the plant's daily activities.
The tour was led by the center's director, Rafael Mancho, along with technicians from the R&D and technical support departments, Pilar Salsé and Ismael Errea, who explained in an engaging way the role of the plastics industry in everyday life and its contribution to the economic and social development of the region.
The tour included different areas of the factory, where basic concepts related to production management, environmental protection, and industrial innovation were covered. In this context, special emphasis was placed on aspects such as waste separation for recycling, the use of renewable energy, and workplace safety.
