Students of chemical engineering at IQS visit the factory in Vila-seca I

A group of students and professors of the master’s degree in chemical engineering of the Sarrià Chemical Institute (IQS) visited the Ercros factory in Vila-seca I.
Ercros collaborates with IQS in one of the subjects of this master's degree which, this year, includes the design of a chlorine absorption installation according to the best available technology.
The Vila-seca I factory belongs to the chlorine derivatives division and has a production capacity of almost one million tonnes per year. Between 2016 and 2019, Ercros carried out a major modernisation of this centre to adapt the chlorine production process to the best available technology and expand its facilities.
