We participate in a radio program about the everyday applications of chemistry

Mario Lorenzo, head of industrial relations at the Ercros (CIT) industrial complex in Tarragona, participated in the round table Applications in the food and agricultural field, within the framework of the special program Essential and everyday applications of chemical production in Tarragona, broadcast by Cadena SER from the Comte de Rius institute, where the Tarragona Chemical Business Association (AEQT) participated.

Lorenzo presented Ercros's activities and main products and discussed with the other speakers the evolution of production, sustainability, the importance of the Tarragona chemical complex, and the challenges facing the sector. He also highlighted the role of talent, specialized training, and the collaboration between the CIT and the Comte de Rius Institute, as well as the importance of dual vocational training.

The event showed how the chemical industry is present in numerous elements of daily life, from household appliances and mattresses to well-known medical and sporting products such as the official ball of the World Cup.
