We sponsor a solidarity race with more than a thousand participating students

Ercros has sponsored the 11th edition of the Institut Forat del Vent Solidarity Race in Cerdanyola (Barcelona), which was held at the end of the year and in which more than 1,400 students and teachers from various local institutes participated.

The race was not only an opportunity to promote physical activity but also had an educational and solidarity component: each participant contributed a kilo of food that went to Cáritas Cerdanyola and the Food Bank Foundation.

The starting signal for the race was given by the mayor of Cerdanyola, Carles Cordón. The awards ceremony was carried out by the inspector of the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Helena Sarroca; the councillors of the Cerdanyola City Council, Sonia Rodríguez and Òscar Pons, and the person responsible for Industrial Relations of the Ercros factory in Cerdanyola, Àngel Domínguez.
