We sponsor a women's soccer tournament to research diabetes

Ercros sponsored the Valenta Sugar Cup tournament, held this weekend in Almussafes. The tournament aims to promote research into type 1 diabetes and raise awareness of the challenges faced by children and young people affected by this chronic, autoimmune, and incurable disease.

Organized by the DiabetesCERO Foundation, the Almussafes Diabetes Association, and the Almussafes City Council, the tournament brought together 38 youth women's soccer teams from across the Valencian Community to raise funds for scientific research and raise social awareness about this disease.

Fernando Burgueño and Xelo Aranda, director and head of industrial relations at the Almussafes factory, respectively, attended the tournament to demonstrate Ercros' support for organizing the event.

For the second consecutive year, Ercros is joining this charitable initiative to combat a disease that, according to data from the Ministry of Health, affects more than 166,000 people in Spain, of whom approximately 1,350 are diagnosed before the age of 15.
