We take part in the 13th National Congress of Chemical Distribution

Ercros has participated in the 13th National Congress of Chemical Distribution, organized by the Spanish Association of Chemical Trade (AECQ) and held in Barcelona under the slogan "Challenges of chemical distribution in a changing world".

The director of the company's chlorine derivatives division, Francisco España, took part in the main discussion table of the day. During his speech, he pointed out that the current situation is putting the production industry to the test: "The producer is affected by everything: the energy shock, logistical disruption, tariffs, the increase in pressure from non-EU products, etc. The situation is challenging. What we ask of the distribution chain is flexibility and adaptability." He also emphasised the importance of defending the competitiveness of European producers as a fundamental element for the stability of the chemical distribution sector.

The round table was also attended by Rosa Prenafeta, director of the council of transport users of Catalonia, and Carlos Arola, CEO of the Arola Group, and was moderated by Xavier Ribera, director of communication, institutional relations and sustainability at Basf.
