Pharmaceuticals director supports chemical industry's future

Ma Carmen Cruzado, director of the pharmaceuticals division of Ercros has participated in the panel discussion "Commitment to the Madrid industry" organized by the Association of metal companies of Madrid ("Aecim"), within the framework of the Industry Live fair, an annual meeting that integrates the companies and institutions of the sector.

In her presentation, Cruzado highlighted that chemical is one of the pillars of the Spanish industry, contributes about 6% of GDP and exports 71% of its sales.

In addition, Ma Carmen Cruzado has affirmed that "the chemical industry becomes a growth engine for its environment, since it generates quality employment, specialized training, effort in innovation and specific investment in environmental protection".

The round table has had the participation of Mar Paños, general director of economic and industrial promotion of the Community of Madrid, as well as other representatives of industrial companies located in the Community. In it, topics such as sustainability, digitization, investment or public aid have been discussed.
