We obtain the ‘Calculate and Reduce’ seal from the Ministry

Ercros has obtained the Calculate and Reduce seal awarded by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco), a recognition certifying the company's effective reduction of its carbon footprint and its commitment to combating climate change. The seal is part of the Ministry's Registry of carbon footprints, offsetting, and carbon dioxide absorption projects.

Obtaining this seal recognizes Ercros's positive progress in managing and reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, because of measures implemented by the company to improve energy efficiency, optimize production processes, and advance the decarbonization of its operations.

The Calculate and Reduce seal is awarded to organizations that demonstrate a sustained trend of reducing their emissions over several consecutive reporting periods, in accordance with the methodology established by Miteco. To grant the seal, the Ministry analyses the organization's emissions intensity trends and verifies that there is a genuine and consistent reduction over time. 

This recognition is part of Ercros's sustainability strategy and demonstrates the company's commitment to the transition toward a low-carbon economy. In this context, the company drives initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its operations, promoting more efficient resource use, and integrating sustainability criteria across its entire range of activities, thereby contributing to national and international climate change mitigation goals.
