We share our experience in using hydrogen as a renewable energy source

The Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo has launched two important investments included in the 3D Plan related to the use of hydrogen as a renewable energy source: the semi-industrial plant for the generation of green hydrogen and the installation of mixed burners in the steam boilers to take advantage of 100% of the hydrogen obtained in other plants. According to Elena Simón, director of this factory, "these actions have been possible thanks to Ercros' extensive experience in the use of hydrogen, and reinforce the company's commitment to decarbonisation and the energy transition".
The representative of Ercros has intervened in the round table on the energy challenges of the Alto Aragonese industry, within the conference "Energy challenges and opportunities for the Alto Aragonese industry", held in the plenary hall of Pirenarium in Sabiñánigo and organized by the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation, the Alto Gállego Pyrenees Business Association and the Sabiñánigo City Council.
The conference, which brought together institutional and business representatives to analyse the role of hydrogen in the industrial transition of the territory, was attended by Berta Fernández, mayor of Sabiñánigo, and Mar Paños, general director of Industrial Promotion and Innovation of the Government of Aragon and vice-president of the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragon, who highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration for sustainable development.
