Ercros joins Circlear, the Aragonese cluster for the circular economy

Ercros has formalised its participation, as a founding partner, in the brand new Aragonese circular economy cluster, Circlear, created to promote a more sustainable, innovative and efficient industrial model in the use of resources. Ercros has two factories in Aragón, one in Sabiñánigo and the other in Monzón.
Circlear arises within the European project Redol (Aragon's regional hub for circularity), whose objective is to promote collaboration between companies, public administrations, technology centres and social agents, to move towards more responsible production practices aimed at reducing waste and optimising materials.
The institutional act of constitution of the cluster was attended by Belén Pascual, head of R+D of the Monzón factory, who attended on behalf of Ercros and participated in the signing along with some thirty Aragonese companies. The event was chaired by the Director General of Economic Policy, Javier Martínez, and the Director General of Industrial Promotion and Innovation, Mª del Mar Paños, both from the Government of Aragon.
With its participation in Circlear, Ercros reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability and the transformation of the Aragonese industrial model. This initiative represents a step towards a future in which economic development and environmental protection go hand in hand.
