Ercros renews the collaboration agreement with the Foundation for Conservation and Recovery of Marine Animals
Ercros is commemorating World Sea Turtle Day today by renewing the collaboration agreement with the Foundation for the Conservation and Recovery of Marine Animals («CRAM»), signed for the first time in July 2019 and by which Ercros will supply CRAM with chemical products to disinfect and maintain the facilities where turtles rescued from the sea recover.
In this way, Ercros reinforces its contribution to the protection of fauna and marine ecosystems and consolidates its sustainability policy, based on guaranteeing absolute respect for the environment.
On June 16, World Sea Turtle Day –one of the most endangered animals on the planet and in turn one of the longest-lived– is celebrated each year to raise awareness of the danger theses animals are facing and the threats that lie in wait for them, as well as involving humanity in the care and survival of the species.
In the same way, Ercros maintains an agreement with the chemical products distribution company, Brenntag, to collaborate in the packaging and transportation of the mentioned products from Ercros to the headquarters of the CRAM Foundation.
The CRAM Foundation is a private non-profit entity dedicated to the protection of the marine environment and the species that inhabit it. Its lines of action are the clinic and rescue of marine fauna, the research and conservation of species and the awareness in favour of preserving the seas and oceans.
Ercros is a chemical industrial group with a centuries-old tradition. It maintains a leading position in the markets where it’s present and exports almost half of its sales to more than 93 countries, mainly in the EU.
