The president of Ercros, speaker of the Central Balance Sheet Data Office

Madrid,

The president of Ercros, Antonio Zabalza, participated as a speaker at the meeting with companies within the framework of the 40th anniversary of the Central Balance Sheet Data Office of the Bank of Spain, which took place in Madrid last Tuesday.

In his speech, Antonio Zabalza assured that "For companies, with the Central Balance Sheet Data Office, the market is becoming more transparent and accessible." The event was opened by Ángel Gavilán, general director of Economy and Statistics of the Bank of Spain.

The Central Balance Sheet Data Office is a service of the Bank of Spain that, since 1984, collects and analyses the economic-financial information voluntarily sent by Spanish non-financial companies through periodic surveys, as well as the information from the annual accounts that the companies present to the National Securities Market Commission and the Commercial Registry. Ercros has been providing quarterly information to the Central Balance Sheet Data Office for 25 years.

This service makes available to the public the reports it publishes and the statistics it obtains, which are a very important tool both for public administrations, to prepare financial accounts and understand business behaviour, and for companies to know their position concerning their sector and facilitate decision making.
