The head of project optimisation of the Directorate for Sustainable Development of Ercros, Oscar Giménez, has participated in the round table "Value chain and climate resilience. Resilient business models", in which he pointed out the strategic and economic benefits of a business model capable of adapting to the challenges of climate change.

In his speech at the table, held at the Association of Economists of Catalonia and with the participation of representatives of other sectors of activity, Giménez also pointed out the competitive risks faced by chemical companies in the European Union as a result of the existence of unequal regulatory frameworks at the international level in the fight against climate change.

Giménez explained the actions carried out by Ercros to mitigate its greenhouse gas emissions within the framework of its 3D Strategic Plan, as well as the challenges it plans to face to advance in the decarbonisation of its activity. These actions are included in the Ercros Climate Transition Plan.
